The field of IT is exciting but at the same time it is dynamic, it is volatile and challenging. As a student from IT field, one has to be prepared to develop IT solutions for a variety of business processes and challenges. IICMR MCA department organized TechnoCase 2018 a state level competition for the 8th consecutive year on 8th September, 2018. The main objective of TechnoCase is to provide the student community a platform, an opportunity to showcase their programming talent along with their analytical and logical skills in front the IT industry experts. The purpose of this competition was to reinforce and develop upon the concepts learnt in class rooms.
For PG we had Budding Consultant a Case study poster competition based on the theme, ‘Security Solutions for Smart Digital World’. For the UG students we had Code Battle (C programming) competition.
Application of Conceptual knowledge, Technical Know-How, Creative IT enabled solutions were the take away for participants and IT Experts who judged this Competition. The competition was judged by an elite panel of judges, Dr. Biju Nathan, Indus Software Technologies Pvt.Ltd., Mr. Moreshwar Balsing, NextGen Cloud Service Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Mandar Kulkarni, NetCracker, Mr. Divyesh Patel, Visteon Corporation, Mr.Bhushan Pawar, Emtec , Mr. Suraj Shinde, Systools, Mr.HrishikeshDeshpande,Xpansion International, Mr. Chatur ShriGanesh, Barcklays Technology & Mr. Ayyan Peerjade, Coditas Technologies. The chief guest for the valedictory function was Mrs. Shweta Kulkarni, VP- Projects, Harbinger Systems. The event witnessed 920 students competing from 11 different institutions from the state of Maharashtra. The winners & runners up were awarded with cash prize and trophies.
ATSS’s Institute of Industrial and Computer Management and Research (IICMR), Nigdi, organized a one day State level Business Case Study and C/C++ programming competition, TechnoCase 2017 on 15th and 16th September 2017. The competition proved to be the meeting ground for Industry and Academia. The event was partnered by Quick Heal Technologies Pvt. Ltd, ISTQB, Alphonso India, Angular Minds Pvt. Ltd. and iSuccessIT.
The event received an overwhelming response from 1027 students competing in the event from 13 different colleges in and around Pune city.
A one day State level Business Case Study and C/C++ programming competition, TechnoCase 2016 was orgainsed and the competition proved to be the meeting ground for Industry and Academia. The motive for conducting the competition is to provide a platform for UG & PG students to showcase their Technical skills, innovativeness and presentation skills. Mr. Mr.Sreeniwas Vemulapalli, Director, Emtec Technologies Pvt.Ltd. inaugurated the competition. Mr. Sagar Mahajan, Founder, Angular Minds Pvt. Ltd. was the guest of honour. A total 1400 students from 21 colleges participated in TechnoCase 2016.
The event was partnered by Quick Heal Technologies Pvt. Ltd, ISTQB, Alphonso India, Angular Minds Pvt. Ltd. and iSuccessIT. The competition was judged by IT experts from Persistent Systems Ltd., Harman Connected Services, Quick Heal Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Emtec Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
The valedictory function of TechnoCase 2016 was graced by Mr. Anup Thapliyal , CIO & India Country Head –IT , Credit Suisse as the Chief Guest. In his speech he highlighted that Positive attitude, confidence, good communication skills, adaptability to rapid changes, self-learning ability will help the students to progress in their career.
To motivate the students to read, Library day Was celebrated in remembrance of the father of library Science, Dr. S.R. Ranganathan. Competitions were conducted for students on "Book Reviews‘" & "Article Review". The students were given certificated and prizes. Also on the same day Book exhibition was organized.
"C" Programming competition was conducted for the students of MCA, BCA & BSc(Comp). The competition was comprising of 3 rounds. Winners and runner ups were given medals and trophies at the Annual social gathering "Rainbow".
