Workshop : Co Workshop

Every year department conducts a workshop on Computer Organization for MCA I students to initiate an innovative way of imparting. This year the workshop was conducted on 5th March 2019 by Ms.Kiran Shinde. Mr.Mathpati ,Mr.Haridas Mundhe and Mr.Sachin Raikar also helped to conduct the workshop

The workshop was comprised of two major activities. Initially the theme of this technical workshop was explained by Ms. Kiran Shinde to the students and a video on assembling was shown to make them aware about the assembling process. Then students were asked to disassemble the computer system components and assemble them back.Students found the workshop very interesting and useful.


Workshop : Paper Bag Making

IICMR-MCA department organized "Go-Green –Paper Bag Making " drive for the Students on 26th June 2018 to protect the environment from plastic bag and to fulfill their responsibility towards the society. All the MCA staff and students participated in this activity.. Considering the importance of over usage of Plastic bags IICMR-MCA has taken initiative to train the students through faculty “ how to make paper bags with news paper waste”.

Workshop : Model Making

To provide more realistic, hands-on experience to students so as to understand the concepts of various subjects MCA department has organized model making activity on various subjects like Operating System, Networking, Data structure, Cloud computing for MCA first and second year students.all models are exhibited on 18th April 2018 Students selected various topics on which working models will be made under the guidance of Dr. Deepali Sawai, Mr. Sanjay Mathapati, Ms. Kiran Shinde, Ms. Vandana Pednekar.

The MCA department of IICMR organized a workshop on Computer Organization for MCA I students to initiate an innovative way of imparting knowledge which could be useful to all other similar institutes as well.The workshop was comprised of two major activities. In one activity students were asked to disassemble the working computer system and assemble back. In other activity they were informed about the motherboard and its components

Students actively participated in learning & examining the computer hardware in an innovative way.

The MCA department of IICMR organized a workshop on Computer Organization for MCA II students to initiate an innovative way of imparting knowledge

The workshop was guided by Technical Director, Dr. Deepali Sawai . Madam shared that as new operating systems & technologies are coming into existence, it eventually becomes necessary to scrap the outdated computer systems. Instead, the institute can use these systems as a learning material by giving the students an opportunity to open the systems & gain knowledge of the hardware components in it.

MCA faculty members also visited the workshop.
